Jason Guitars United

In response to the cancellation of the U.S. T86 policy and ongoing tariff instability, we are making necessary adjustments to our operations to better navigate the challenges of the U.S. guitar market. These changes are also aimed at enhancing the overall service experience for our valued customers.

Our Business Model in the U.S. Market

Over the past few years, we have operated under a fully managed business model (fully managed model), handling every aspect in-house — including product R&D, sales, logistics, and customer support.

However, due to recent changes in U.S. tariff policies, we are transitioning part of our operations to a semi-managed model. Under this approach, products will be shipped to the United States (primarily via sea freight), stored in local warehouses, and delivered directly to customers. This change is designed to optimize resource allocation and improve overall operational efficiency.

Given the unique nature of the guitar market, we recognize the need for flexible and differentiated strategies. Depending on factors such as cost and market demand, we will adopt either the fully managed model or the semi-managed model to best serve our customers and expand our presence in the U.S. market.

As a result, we will now operate two business models within the United States to better meet customer needs and adapt to market conditions.

U.S. Sales Strategy under the Semi-Managed Model

To successfully implement the semi-managed model in the U.S. market, it is essential for us to maintain a deep understanding of the local guitar industry through continuous research and analysis. This includes gathering and acting on the Voice of the Customer — feedback regarding their experiences, expectations, and suggestions. Such insights are critical in helping us understand customer needs, identify opportunities for product improvements, and determine which product models and specifications should be developed and launched. We are committed to carefully considering all customer input when planning our product offerings.

Under the semi-managed model, we will operate with two sales modes:

Mode 1: Pre-Arrival Sales

In this mode, we begin accepting orders as soon as the goods are shipped from our manufacturing facility.

● Shipping to the U.S. warehouse typically takes 30 to 45 days, followed by final delivery in 7 to 15 days.

● Customers will receive regular updates on shipping progress and can contact customer support at any time.

● To reward early buyers, this mode offers the highest discount.

● If a customer does not receive the goods within 90 days, we offer a full, no-wait refund.

We strongly recommend this option to customers who are comfortable waiting and want the best value.

Mode 2: Post-Arrival Sales

In this mode, we begin selling only after the goods have arrived at the local warehouse.

● Delivery takes just 7 to 15 days from the time of purchase.

● A smaller discount is offered compared to Mode 1, but with the benefit of faster fulfillment.

Regardless of the chosen mode, once a batch of goods has been shipped, all key details — including model specifications, available quantity, and estimated arrival time — are fixed and transparent.
